00 How it works
Four steps. About a day end-to-end.
From the moment you point your line at us to the moment your first caller hears the new greeting — same calendar day.
- 01
Forward your line.
Point your existing business number at a Yelow number. Takes about ten minutes on the demo call.
- 02
Pick your voice.
Choose from our trained voices, or ask about a cloned voice on the demo.
- 03
Train the agent.
Paste your menu, services, hours, and the rules your callers care about. Yelow handles the rest.
- 04
Go live.
Yelow answers every call, captures the action (order, booking, dispatch), and warm-transfers when a human is needed.
01 Common questions
The practical stuff.
- Do I have to change my phone number to use Yelow?
- No. You keep your number and forward it — either only when you miss a call, or on every call. Forwarding is a carrier feature (typically dialing *72) and takes minutes.
- What does the agent sound like?
- You choose from trained natural voices, and a cloned voice of you or a team member is available on request. Callers hear your greeting and your vocabulary, not a generic robot.
- What do I train the agent on?
- Your menu or service list, hours, prices, policies, and the rules that matter on your calls — what counts as an emergency, when to transfer, what to never promise. Paste it in once; update it whenever things change.
- What happens on calls the agent should not handle?
- It warm-transfers: your phone rings, and when you pick up the agent hands over the caller along with everything already said. If you are unreachable, it takes the full details and marks the call urgent in your dashboard.
- How do I see what happened on my calls?
- Every call produces a transcript and a summary in your dashboard — what the caller wanted, what the agent did, and anything that needs a follow-up.
